Per il quarantacinquesimo EP di Trend Records fa il suo debutto sulla label adriatica Waxlife Disco Service. Dietro questo pseudonimo si cela Simone Lanza: mix e master engineer e producer con nomi diversi che vanno dall’Hip-Hop all’House. La sua versione originale di “You Know” diffonde vibrazioni solari dall’inizio alla fine, trasformando il tutto in uno stato d’animo positivo attraverso le sue influenze Disco.
I remix sono affidati a due tra i più prolifici artisti della nostra Riviera: stiamo parlando di Ricky Cardelli, frontman di Capofortuna e Funk Rimini, e del label owner Alessio Collina.
Il “Synthposio Mix” di Ricky è un viaggio profondo intorno a una miscela di synth spaziali e rodi classici, con una linea di basso funk killer.
Il dub mix filtrato di Alessio è più orientato al club con il suo groove classico, i campioni principali riarrangiati sul suo MPC2000 e un fat sub bass che rende impossibile rimanere fermi.
For the forty-fifth EP of Trend Records he makes his debut on the Adriatic label Waxlife Disco Service. Behind this alias there is Simone Lanza: mix and master engineer and producer with different names ranging from Hip-Hop to House. His original version of “You Know” spreads sunshine vibes from the start till the end, it turns everything in a positive mood with its Disco influences.
Remixes are entrusted to two of the most prolific artists from our Riviera: we’re talking about Ricky Cardelli, Frontman of Capofortuna/Funk Rimini, and label owner Alessio Collina.
Ricky’s “Synthposio Mix” is a deep trip around a mixture of spacey synths and classic rhodes, with a killer funk bassline.
Alessio’s Filtered dub mix is more club oriented with his classic groove, the main samples rearranged on his MPC2000 and a fat sub bass that makes impossible to stay still.
